john zator specialist surf instructor
John has 35 years' of surfing experience, which includes 10 years of providing expert surf instruction to students at all levels. For several years, he owned and operated his own surf shop, until Elliot discovered his abilities and talent and persuaded him to join the Surf2Live team.
Outside of surfing, John is very active in the community, coaching youth lacrosse and basketball, as well as coaching the Nassau County Police Activity League.
Like so many of our instructors, John's specialty is teaching children and young adults with special needs how to surf.
